Larimer County rates as one of the safest for children in cars, with programs …

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that in 2008 alone, 244 lives of children 5 years old and younger were saved nationally by the proper use of child restraints. Crashes are the leading cause of death for children from 3 to 14 years old, the NHTSA said in an emailed statement. Statistics show that children are … Continue reading

Smith sat down with The DNJ on her 10-year anniversary as the local Habitat for Humanity leader to talk about the ministry. Q: Was there something that pushed you into Habitat for Humanity? Smith: There was something pushing me into something besides what I was doing, because I … Continue reading

Consumer Spending Down, Bad Credit Borrowing Up
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 02, 2012 The online consumer information website, BadCreditx.com, has released the results of its annual visitor survey revealing that consumer spending for necessities has declined sharply while borrowing, categorized as bad credit cards, loans or debt consolidation loan offers, has increased by over 28%. Participants in the survey were asked what they most urgently needed to spend money on, what they were buying and what percentage of their income that people felt was discretionary. Borrowing results were determined by the number of participants that were in a situation of immediate need for money that they felt could only be achieved in time by borrowing money from a lender.
